Recipes, Quotes and Fit Tips

Two of the biggest burdens people run into while on their fitness journey is motivation, and food preparation.  To help those people out, I put together a few recipes, motivational quotes and a few fit tips to help someone get over their fitness hump.

Fit Tip #1- You can still gain fat mass by overeating healthy foods. The trick is to take in the right amount of calories and macronutrients for you as an individual.

"Care less, smile more."

Meal #2 Blackened Tilapia

"Strive For Progress, Not Perfection"

Fit Tip #2- Checking your weight everyday is more discouraging than encouraging. Progress pictures, measurements, and monitoring your body fat percentage will give you a better idea of the progress you are making.

Meal #3 Stir Fried Chicken Salad

"Today is a New Beginning"

Meal # 4 Lemon Shrimp With Parmesan Rice

"Challenge Yourself to Change Yourself"

Fit Tip #3- Bring yourself to understand that a diet that an unsustainable, quick results approach to dieting is the fastest way to regain the unwanted weight you worked so hard to get rid of. What is the point of losing the weight if the approach you are taking will put it back on?

Meal #5 Greek Bison Burger (Because who doesn't like a good burger?)

"Remember Why You Started"

Need a Snack in between meals?
How about making your own protein bars that taste like dessert?

I hope these recipes, quotes and fit tips give you an extra boost as we enter beach season. You have to stay focused and REALLY remember why you started.  If a method doesn't work, try a different one. BUT, make sure the method is sustainable, made to fit you, and it supports your goals. You can do this if you really put your mind to it, and make your fitness goal a priority.  It's not easy, but it's worth it. - T.H.E.
